I usually pair ‘Velvet Teddy’ with MAC’s ‘Stripdown’ liner. ‘Velvet Teddy’ is definitely one of the trendy colors at the moment. MAC is also consistently releasing new shades and collections, making it fun to collect them! Switching up the packaging and making certain colors limited-edition are also fun ways the brand spices things up. However, I personally find the quality to be just as good if not better than many designer lipsticks – so why pay more? They are kind of in the middle price point, being more expensive and higher quality than drugstore brands, but still much more affordable than the higher-end brands such as NARS, YSL, etc. I have always been preferential to MAC lipsticks and I’m not quite sure why. Nudes can vary from the lightest of nudes like MAC’s ‘Fleshpot’, to deep-toned beiges like MAC’s ‘Velvet Teddy’. The color nude can be a fairly broad term when referring to colors of lipsticks.
